Jeanne’s career in communications and public relations is not your run of the mill career path. Based in Singapore, in her last role at BBC Studios, Jeanne provided corporate and consumer communications leadership to the organisation’s pay TV channels and content business. There, she launched pay TV channels like BBC Earth, programmes like Sherlock and Top Gear, SVOD service, BBC Player and handled BBC Studios’ reputation issues in Asia. She has worked across markets in most of Asia, from China, to Korea, to India and South East Asia.
She also worked at the Singapore Tourism Board; she has set up and run her own PR consultancy firm, set up and grown consultancy firms such as Essence Communications and even launched Viagra while at Ruder Finn. She has run cross-functional projects across the Asia ,managed celebrities, counselled professionals, and developed communications plans with proven purpose and impact.
Jeanne brings to the Brown Girl in the Ring Change Maker Residency her proven professional expertise and leadership, cross-cultural awareness, and also a thoughtfulness and emotional intelligence to the mentor experience.
With over a decade of experience in PR both locally and internationally, Kishani has successfully handled an impressive list of multinational accounts including IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo, Gemalto, Microsoft, Dell, Intel, Unilever, Hilton, SUEZ Environment – Degremont and Fonterra, as well as world famous luxury retail brands including Nuxe, Comite Colbert (Committee of French Luxury brands) and Dubai Fashion Week.
